Meet Your Guide: Andrea Nicholson, MS, BCHN®️
Andrea is Board Certified Holistic Nutrition, specializing in managing and reversing metabolic health conditions such as diabetes, prediabetes, insulin resistance, obesity, hypertension, and heart disease using therapeutic nutrition and lifestyle strategies. Walking is one such simple technique Andrea implements with her clients to improve fitness, blood sugar handling, and digestion.
How the Challenge Works
Before the challenge begins, you'll receive an email with a calendar showing the challenge plan and a journal page to keep track of your progress through the challenge. As designed, you'll have a specific number of minutes to walk each day (slowly increasing from 15 to 45 min). You can do this in one single walk or broken up throughout the day. Feel free to modify these goals as you see fit! You can walk outside, on a treadmill or elliptical, or you can walk indoors on a track or through the mall. Just get it done!
Each morning, you'll receive an email with tips and information to improve your health all along the way.
Prizes will be awarded to 3 participants just for participating! All you have to do is reply to each email after you've completed the day's goal. Simply tell me what you did for the day to be counted! You can send a photo of the number of steps you took, the time you completed, you walking... anything. Accountability to huge in ensuring you get this done daily.
